Biography

Gym, Deer is Robert Lee, or it can be the group of musicians playing his music. Alone, as on the upcoming first album, it can become layered voices and sounds crawling or racing through a sung story. But the Gym, Deer band gives life to, expands upon, and energizes the music he's come up with. The versatile members are close friends and colleagues in the Brooklyn scene. Mallory is also part of the rising star of Brooklyn band 'In One Wind', which is Angelo's brainchild. Anthony has been a member of indie powerhouse Annie Clark's 'St. Vincent', as well as being in the growing whisper of 'Pony of Good Tidings' and leading his own band, 'The Building'.
