Austin, Texas. I’ve never actually been there, but so many people have told me how much I’d like it there it’s difficult not to believe them.

Driving home from Cleveland late at night.
What is your favorite vernacular phrase/device of your hometown:
“Boardman, a nice place to call home.” When I was young, I took this motto (from the signs around town) to mean that my hometown was a good place to stop at, find a pay phone, and call where you’re really from.
What is one thing you hope a listener takes from your music:
That they’ve been told a story, a story worth staying till the end.

Temperate.

Swedish Rye Bread. Whiskey Old-Fashioned.

Generally, sarcasm. Dogs/people that look like Muppets.
